Creator: Add Question Slides

Note: Adding questions to your Creator course is a great way to help your employees to retain information, while allowing the facilitator to check for comprehension. The questions will work in Player with remotes, as well as in eLearning and Playbook.

Insert Question Slide

1. In PowerPoint navigate to the Alchemy Creator ribbon, and select Question Slide
   • Question slide will appear after the highlighted slide in PowerPoint (recommended)
   • Question location defaults to the first slide if a slide is not highlighted

Select Question Type

1. Click Options
2. The Question Options window will appear
   • Choose the Number of Answers (2-4 answers)
   • Choose the Score Style, Graded is the default, Non-Graded questions will not count towards a score
   • Choose a Question Style (see below)

Question Style 1

• Left: Picture & Question text
• Right: Text answer choices
• No Picture Answers

Question Style 2

• Left: Text Question
• Right: Picture Answers
• No On Screen Answers

Question Style 3

• Left: Text Question
• Right: Picture Question with On Screen Answers

Build the Question Slide

1. Fill in Question Text and all Answer Text fields
   • Question Style 3: Add On Screen Answer Text
2. Check the Correct answer box
3. Add Pictures
   • Question Style 1: Click on the picture icon on the slide, this will prompt you to choose a file
   • Question Style 2 & 3: First highlight the picture icon below the Answer Text, then click on the picture icon on the slide, this will prompt you to choose a file
4. Add Audio (recommended)
   • Microphone icon: Record in Creator
   • Speaker icon: Import a previously recorded audio clip 
5. Preview Question
   • Note: Previewing will only display the current slide without audio, you can preview the audio after exporting the complete course
