Assigning users to learning plans ensures that the required training activities will appear on the user's eLearning account, in addition to making it easier for reporting purposes.
You can assign users to Learning Plans through Manual Subscription and Automatic Subscription. Manual is helpful when you have a small number of users to assign. Automatic Subscriptions is useful when there are whole groups or worksites that must be assigned to Learning Plans.
Note: Once you click Add new activities on a new Learning Plan, the options to subscribe users will appear.
Manual Subscription
- From the Learning Plan Details (once the Learning Plan has been added) click on Subscriptions.

To manually subscribe a user, click on the purple +/- Users button on the left.

Select the users you would like to add to the Learning Plan.
- Use the Filter and Search functions to quickly find users.
- To manually unsubscribe a person, simply deselect the checkbox next to their name.

Click Save to save your changes.
Automatic Subscription
- From the Learning Plan Details (once the Learning Plan has been added) click on Subscriptions

To automatically subscribe a group or a worksite, click on the blue +/- Groups button on the right

Select the groups and/or worksites you would like to add to the Learning Plan.
- If you do not see any groups, click Filter to view options.
- If you do not see any groups, click Filter to view options.
- To automatically unsubscribe a group or a worksite, simply deselect the groups/worksites.
- Click Save to save your changes.
Note: Before subscribing worksites to a Learning Plan, review and validate your Validate Users (Player) list, as Users from this list will be included.
Subscribe a user from their profile
If there is only one user to assign to a learning plan, you can do this directly from their profile.
- In Manager, navigate to Users, then User Listing.
- Select the user you wish to subscribe.
- Click on the Learning Plans tab.
- Click on the +/- Learning Plans button.
- Select the plan you wish to assign to the user.

Click SAVE.
Processing Time
In some cases, subscriptions may take up to one hour to process. During this time, an icon will appear next to the user names listed in the Subscriptions tab of the learning plan. Once processing is complete, the icon will automatically be removed.
