The Intertek Alchemy Mobile app allows for corrective actions. A corrective action occurs when a User is marked Not Compliant in an Observation. A corrective action refers to the steps or actions a coach takes in order to retrain a user on a specific task, addressing any errors or areas of improvement to ensure proper performance. This article provides information on how a Corrective Action works, how to complete a corrective action and subsequent observation steps. Administrators with Manager access (Gold Admin or higher) can mark a Corrective Action as complete in Manager.
Note: The legacy Coach app allows for corrective actions, though instructions may vary.

Corrective Action Workflow
Option 1: Marking Corrective Action Complete in the App
A corrective action will appear in App directly following an Observation that is marked Not Compliant. Pending corrections can also be found in the Quick Actions section of the Homepage.
Directly Following an Observation
- Coach reviews the Corrective Action and has the user complete the Corrective Action as listed.
- Coach selects Mark CA Complete.
- Coach verifies at the Corrective Action Confirmation by selecting Confirm.
- Add optional note, and/or select Save and Submit.
- Once completed, you will see a green confirmation ribbon.
Through Quick Actions
- In the app, navigate to Quick Actions.
- Locate a Corrective Action Pending by scrolling, using the search bar or the
Search Filter.
- Pending Corrective Actions will appear in Orange in the User listing.
- Pending Corrective Actions will appear in Orange in the User listing.
- Select Review Corrective Action located at the bottom of the app.
- Coach verifies at the Corrective Action Confirmation by selecting Confirm.
- Add optional note, and/or select Save and Submit.
- Once completed, you will see a green confirmation ribbon.
Option 2: Locating/Marking Corrective Action Complete in Manager
There are two ways to find a pending corrective action in Manager. The steps for each path are outlined below, followed by instructions on how to complete the corrective action once you've located it.
Path 1: Locating in Pending Corrective Actions
- Sync the Coach tablet after all Observations are complete.
- Navigate to Users, then Pending Corrections.
- Find the User, and open the Observation result by clicking on any of the row.

Path 2: Locating Pending Corrective Actions in User Transcript
- Sync the Coach tablet after all observations are complete.
- Navigate to Users, then User Listing, and select the User.
- Select the Transcript tab.
- Click on the status (i.e. In Progress) or score to open the Observation results.
- Proceed to the Marking Corrective Action Complete in Manager section below for next steps.
Marking Corrective Action Complete in Manager
- Once in the Observation result, scroll down to view the Corrective Action.
- The Manager admin has the user complete the corrective action as listed.
- Refer to Access Levels for required admin credentials for corrective action completion in Manager.
- Select Mark As Complete.
- If desired, add an optional note, and select Finish.
