How to Opt-Out of Email Notifications for Learners

Note: You must have an active e-mail address associated with your user profile in the Alchemy Manager website. See a supervisor if your e-mail needs to be added. The e-mail address can be a personal or work e-mail, as this is not monitored by Alchemy.

Automatic Enrollment

There are three different ways the learner notification feature can be enabled. If your company has elected to automatically enroll all users through the Initial Employee Import, the only way to stop automatic email notifications is to opt-out of this feature. Below are two different options which will allow you to opt-out. Be advised manually opted out users will not be re-opted in on future imports.

Initial Login Opt-Out

1. At initial login to eLearning, you will see the following pop-up page:
   
   
2. There are two options under User training emails, uncheck the box or boxes next to the notifications you no longer wish to receive:
   • "Daily summary notifications" will be sent every day beginning 10 days before a learning plan is due and continuing until the end of any extended late completion window, if applicable
   • "Notifications for assigned new training" will be sent the day the learning plan starts or if the learning plan is already active, a single email notification will be sent the day after you are assigned
3. Select SAVE

Alternate Opt-Out Option

If you do not opt-out to e-mail notifications at the first appearance of the pop-up, you do have the option to opt-out under your eLearning user profile.

1. Upon eLearning sign-in, select My Profile on the top right corner
