Note: When building your course in Creator, add Point Slides for introduction of the material, presentation of content, as well as review. On Point Slides you can add voiceover, pictures, or keep the original PowerPoint slide should you choose. Alchemy encourages high resolution pictures as well as scripted voice overs.

Insert your Point slide

1. From the Alchemy Creator tab, select Point Slide 
2. Set Slide Options in Slide Properties

   • Point Slide: Full Screen

     • Presented full-screen without Alchemy styling
     • Option to use for a typical PowerPoint slide with text and bullet points
   • Point Slide: Player Style
     • Full slide pictures and minimal text recommended

Build the Point slide

1. Add instructional elements to your slide (pictures, videos, information)
   • See Creator: Point and Video Slide Style Options
2. Option: Fill in Slide Text or Subtitle Text fields
   • Point slide: This field only appears on screen when Full Screen is DESELECTED
3. Option: Audio (Point slide only)
   • Record voice over using Microphone icon
   • Import voice over file using Speaker icon
   • Video audio will come through on the video
4. Select Preview to review completed slide
   • Note: Previewing will only display the current slide without audio, you can preview the audio after exporting the complete course
