Note: The Merge users tool is an option for those with Platinum (Customer Admin) Access in Manager. You can use this function to combine duplicates that are in the User Listing. It is important to identify both the correct and duplicate records by Username (not User ID). Any training records in the duplicate record are transferred to the correct record, and then the duplicate record is archived. Once this process occurs it cannot be undone. Collect User Names
- Log into your Manager website
- From the Users section, select Users and Admins and find the duplicate users
- Optional: Filter to include Archived Users - will display all hidden users
- Repeat the following for both the correct and duplicate user records:
- Select the name of the user
- From the Properties tab, scroll down to the Access Information section
- Write down the Username (NOT the User ID)
Merging User Data
- From the Users section, select Merge users
- Type in the “bad” duplicate Username into the field marked Old Username
- Type the correct Username into the field marked New Username
- Select Go
- Wait for a confirmation message stating records have been merged successfully

Data that are carried over includes:
- Course Training Records
- eLearning data will not be carried over if the user took the same course under both Usernames
- Test/Evaluation Answers
- Learning Plan Subscriptions
