How to Export an AICC Course from LinkedIn Learning

Another SCORM content type that can be used in eLearning is AICC. AICC courses can be exported from various authoring tools but is most used in online on-demand libraries such as LinkedIn Learning. Below are instructions on how to export an AICC course from LinkedIn Learning.

Enable AICC Integration in LinkedIn Learning

Enabling the AICC integration will allow you to download the course from LinkedIn Learning and upload into Alchemy Manager so that users can take the course through eLearning

1. After you login to LinkedIn Learning navigate to the Admin Screen
2. Click on Me on the top right corner and select Integrate
3. Select Add content to your LMS via AICC and open the Configure AICC panel
4. Under Hostnames add each of these separately:
   • com
   • alchemysystems.com
   • sistemlms.com
5. Enable AICC Integration to:
   • Send the course status to Manager for reporting purposes
   • Make the course playable in Alchemy Manager eLearning
6. Select an AICC Version from the dropdown
   

Focused Learning

You also have the option to enable Focused learning to prevent learners from browsing other courses while they are playing a course.

Download Course Packages

LinkedIn Learning provides two options to download courses. The entire library of courses can be downloaded, or they can be downloaded individually. Below are the instructions for both options

Option 1: Download Course Packages for the Entire Library

1. In the Integrate window, same as above, open the Download AICC Packages panel
2. Select your language
3. Select the type of AICC package
4. Click Download package to begin the file download
5. Follow the instructions, in Adding Company Specific eLearning (SCORM & AICC) Courses to upload the course to Alchemy Manager

Option 2: Download Individual Course Packages

1. After the AICC integration is enabled, navigate to the Content tab in the menu bar and select Library
2. Select a course, collection or learning path in your library
3. At the top-right corner of the course page, click More and select Download AICC Package. A zipped version of the course will be download to your computer
4. Follow the instructions, in  Adding Company Specific eLearning (SCORM & AICC) Courses to upload the course to Alchemy Manager

Note: Users must have access to LinkedIn Learning to take the course.
