Dynamic Group is highly flexible and supports large-scale user assignments. In some cases, creating and editing dynamic groups and using them with learning plans may take time to process. The Task Status Page helps manage and process these tasks asynchronously and efficiently.

When edits are made and the task requires processing time, a notification will appear next to the bell icon. Otherwise, a notification will not appear. To check the status of the tasks, you can visit the Task Status page at any time, see How to Access the Task Status Page.
Tasks on this page are locked for editing while they are being processed. During this time, other administrators will be unable to make additional changes to the group or learning plan until the processing is complete.
The Task Status Page is cleaned out every seven days but can be filtered to view only specific tasks.
How to Access the Task Status Page
- Locate the bell icon next to your profile name.
- You will be redirected to the Task Status Page where your list of items will be listed.
- Use the Search bar and Filter to find specific tasks.
- To filter through your tasks, additional filter options are available, if needed.

Available Task Statuses
Hover your mouse over an icon to see it meaning. There are four distinct task statuses available. The icons and descriptions are listed below.

Completed - task has been processed. Will remain on this page for approximately 7 days.

In Progress - the task is being processed and locked for editing by other Administrators.

Waiting to Start - the task is in queue and locked for editing by other Administrators.

Failed - the task did not process and will attempt to process again.
