How to Manage Course Settings & Slide Properties in Creator

Note: Additionally, the Slide Properties function provides an excellent way of customizing point and video slides to your specifications. 

Manage the Course Settings

Adjust the settings and give the description of your Creator course in Course Settings. Any information that is included in the Description and Competencies will appear in Player. This is a great way to inform the facilitators what to expect during the course. 

1. From the Alchemy Creator tab, select Course Settings
   
2. Adjust Settings and Course Properties:
   • Always Use Manual Advance (Optional)
     • When on, all slides advance manually by pressing the next button
     • When off, slides advance automatically unless otherwise noted in the slide properties for the slide
     • This setting can be reversed, you will have two options when turning it off: to automatically advance or manually advance all slides
   • Course Name (Optional)
   • Course Description – brief description of what is being covered (Optional)
   • Course Competencies – objectives covered in the training (Optional)
   • Course Language – select the language the course is created in (Required)
     

Access Slide Properties

1. Select a slide to be added from the Alchemy Creator tab.
2. Select Slide Properties.
   

 Manage Different Slide Properties

For Point Slides choose from the following customization options Manual advance and full screen  Include Slide Text Add Hyperlink Record Voice Over or import audio file
For Video Slides choose from the following customization options  Import existing video file Include Subtitle Text  Adjust length of subtitle
For Question Slides choose from the following customization options Select question style Include Question text Record Voice Over or import audio file
For Game Show Slides choose from the following customization options Include Question text Record Voice Over or import audio file Add extra seconds delay to question
