Illustrated scripts are outlines that detail the content of a course. With Creator PDF scripts you can have subject matter experts approve your Creator course content before uploading it to Manager, show auditors the exact content of training material and conduct real-time translation on the job with this printout as a guide. This article offers step-by-step instructions on how to export a script and useful information to consider when using this feature.
The script will include slide content such as date, time, course description, competencies and slide information. The course description and competencies listed within the Course settings will be captured in the script.
Exporting PDF Script in Creator
- Within the Creator ribbon, click on Export.
- At the Export window, choose Export Script.
- Save your PDF Script. After naming the script, select Save.
- We recommend using a naming convention to keep track of your PDF Scripts.
- You can use alphanumeric characters for your file name.
- Can be saved locally or using a shared drive or cloud. (At this time, the PDF Script will not be stored in Manager.)
Note: Be sure that the location/software that you are saving to is open and operational for the save to be performed successfully.
- Your PDF Script will export. You will see a green bar displaying the export progress.
- Once completed, the script will be available to view from its saved location.
PDF Script Timestamp
The Creator PDF Script provides date/time information on when the script was last generated. As a best practice, we recommend you generate a PDF script only after the course is updated. This helps ensure that the script that is being viewed has the latest content and that the most up to date script can be easily accessed.
