Using the Library of Questions in a Stand-Alone Test

The Library of Questions is a feature that allows Admin users to quickly add existing questions from other tests into new stand-alone tests, saving time and ensuring consistency. Follow the steps below to add questions from the library into your stand-alone test. For detailed instructions on creating a stand-alone, refer to our Create a Stand-Alone Test article. You must have Silver or higher admin access to create or edit tests.

Access the Stand-Alone Test Feature

1. Log into your Alchemy Manager site.
2. From the left-hand navigation pane, click Activities, then Tests.
3. If you have not created a test yet, click Create New Test.
4. Fill in the required fields:
   • Title
   • Language
   • Worksite
   • Delivery Method
5. Click Save.

Open Your Draft Test

1. Locate your draft test in the list.
2. Click Edit.
3. In the Properties tab, enter your desired Pass Percentage.
4. Click the Questions tab.

Access the Library of Questions

1. In the Questions tab, click Show Library on the right-hand side of the screen.

   

2. The Library of Questions will appear.
   • You can scroll through the questions.
   • You can search by keyword using the search bar.

Note: To view only questions you have personally created, check the box labeled “Mine.”

Add Questions to Your Test

1. Locate a question you want to use.
2. Click Add to Stand-Alone Test next to the question.
3. The question will now appear in your draft test.

Note: After adding a question, you can click on it to edit the wording, answer choices, or correct answer if needed.

Organize and Finalize Your Test

1. Drag and drop questions to rearrange their order.
2. (Optional) Add sections and titles to group questions into categories.
3. Click Preview to view your test.
4. If satisfied, click Save and Publish.

Additional Notes

• The Library of Questions contains questions created by any Admin user within your organization's Alchemy Manager site.
• Using the Library is optional; you can still create new questions manually if needed.
• Always review imported questions to ensure they are correct for your new test.
