Note: Presentation options allow the training facilitator to adjust how Courseware will be presented in Player
- Click the Admin Settings button located toward the top-left corner of the screen
- In the Presentation Setting Section, click the Presentation Options button
- Game Type refers to either having a game be displayed at the end of a course or not. To set a game to be included, make a selection from the Game Type drop-down menu.
- You may also set the game type prior to starting a training activity. Refer to the "Selecting the Game Type" tutorial.
- A lock icon appears next to this option. Locking this feature will prevent changes from being made to this option in the Play Tab.
- Remediation refers to the number of remediation questions that are presented in each teaching tool of a course. To set the number of remediation loops, make a selection from the Remediation drop-down menu. (Selecting "0" will remove all remediation from a course.)
- You may also set the number of remediation loops prior to starting a training activity. Please refer to the "Setting Remediation Loops" tutorial.
- A lock icon appears next to this option. Locking this feature will prevent changes from being made to this option in the Play Tab.
- The Remediation Prevention option prevents users that have already missed the passing percentage of an activity from triggering remediation question loops. For example, if a user is missing many questions and causing other learners to have to view excessive remediation loops in a training activity, turning on this feature will set Player to ignore responses from learners who have already missed the required passing percentage of the activity.
- The Pause Screen option configures Player to pause between each course in a playlist.
- Select the check box for this feature if you would like Player to pause the playlist between courses.
- The Facilitator View option enables a private view of user answers during an activity. Note that this option is not available in Mouse Mode or Kiosk Mode. (For additional information about this feature, see the Player: Facilitator View article)
- Select the check box for this feature if you would like Player to display the facilitator view window.
- Videos in Player default to having no Closed Captioning. You can select the check box next to Enable Video Captions to have the captions appear. This is often utilized for individuals that are hearing impaired or trying to learn English.
- Click the OK button to confirm the changes.
