Note: Playbook course drafts are easily accessible and editable for those with Playbook admin access to worksites the course is enabled for. There are two places to edit Playbook course drafts, in Manager and in Playbook. Once a course has been published, it can only be edited in Manager. This article discusses how to edit published and draft courses in Manager.
Edit a Playbook Course in Manager
- In Manager, navigate to Activities and select Courses
- Select the Playbook course you wish to edit
- To only see Playbook courses, you can filter by course type
- Note: if a course has not been published, it will not be listed in the courses. See Edit a Playbook Course Draft in Manager below for details.
- Click EDIT COURSE
- Select the pencil icon to edit a content section, or click the trash can to delete it
- Move a section by click on the six dots on the upper left hand corner, drag and drop to desired location
- To add more content, click ADD MORE
- Select SAVE AND CLOSE when completed
- Decide to PUBLISH or SAVE DRAFT
Edit a Playbook Draft Course in Manager
- In Manager, navigate to Activities and select Courses
- Click Playbook Course Builder on the top right
- Select the Playbook draft you wish to edit
- If another administrator is currently working on the draft, it will be locked for editing
- If the course is not locked, it will open and you can continue to add/edit content until satisfied with the course
- Click Save and Close
- If you wish to save the draft and not publish, click Save Draft
Publishing the draft
If you decide to publish, you will be prompted to choose the worksite(s) where the course will be available in Playbook (note, the worksites selected when the course was created will be selected)
- Confirm the category (the category selected during the course creation will be selected)
- Click PUBLISH
- Note, the updated course has a new version number
- SYNC your Playbook device to ensure the new course is available for use
