In Player 8.4 and up, you can configure one or more worksites during the initial installation of the component, or add them later as needed. If you manage training for multiple worksites, you can easily switch between them to access worksite-specific users and activities, including learning plans.
Considerations
Configuring worksites on a Player device requires a Manager login. Users can configure worksites they admin. If a user does not administer any worksites, only their associated worksite will be available for configuration. As a best practice, when configuring worksites on your Player device, identify who will be using the device for training and what worksite(s) are needed for that Player device. This helps configure Player with all required worksites. Additionally, if certain individuals are assigned to specific worksites, ensure they are trained on how to change the Player worksite so they can access and train the appropriate users. Visit Access Levels for information on the various admin levels, add-ons and promoting Users.
